Happy New Year everybody!
I love reading my previous posts.
What I was doing a year ago at this time, what I was thinking, what I was hoping for.
Specifically, I love reading my Flashback of 2007 post that I posted in January 2008. I have everything that I loved and hated about 2007 compiled into a single post. And now, a year on when I’m reading about it, 2007 seems like it was
TOTALLY AWESOME.
And then I was thinking that maybe I should do the same thing for 2008.
But then it occurred to me that 2008 holds…nothing.
Can it be true? Or have I overlooked something?
Coz it’s really not that I didn’t have fun in 2008, or that 2008 was very bad.
It’s just…blah. Nothing terribly exciting happened.
That makes me feel really down somehow.
But, on the bright side, this sets up a nice topic to help me reiterate my NEW YEAR RESOLUTION to
SLEEP LESS, DO MORE.
(I’m milking the tagline for what it’s worth.)
And hopefully with that done, my 2009 will be more than just a blast. =)

The other day, I told Sandy that it’s impossible to name all 8 planets at one go. You’re bound to forget at least one.
Me: Babe! You can’t name all the planets at once you know? You’re bound to forget at least one.
Sandy: Sure or not? I can leh….Pluto,..
Me: Pluto is not even a planet!
Sandy: Oh ya! Ok Mars, Venus, Neptune,…er..er..
Me: CANNOT right??? I told you already.
Sandy: er…Hollywood.
Me: Hollywood???
Sandy: Planet Hollywood.
Me: -_-“
Totally off lor!! Hahaha.
And I know you are so gonna try naming all the planets at one go now.
Impossible one la.
Heh.

On a last note, the channel 5 countdown special sucked like a small pile of crap piled onto a bigger pile of crap piled onto another until it was a full crap pyramid where all the channel 5 & 8 stars gathered on top of to belt out their crappy tunes complete with unbelievably crappy dancing and their crappier lip-synching.
So there. To whoever was in charge of it, Thanks for ruining the start of 2009 with the major crapfest.
Grr.
