(1) NEW BOOK!
I kind of figured that I have to read more books. I take AGES to finish just one book, a single serious book can take me up to 6 months! So that means, that if I read two books every year, and live till 80, I will only be able to read 160 books in my lifetime.
God forbid that happen. So I’m trying out my new speed-reading technique for my new book.
Angela’s Ashes! =)
This is a book that I’ve been wanting to read for the longest time ever. It’s coz last time when I was in Speech and Drama class, we had to do a dramatic reading of an excerpt from a book every year. And in order to do that right, you have to read the whole book to get the mood and tone right. This girl in my class did Angela’s Ashes and she said that she finished the whole book!
The teacher said, “ it’s so amazing isn’t it?”, and she said “yes!”
Actually I didn’t really believe that the girl finished the book. It’s a hard book to read. And it’s made worse because I have this horrible compulsion that everytime I read a book, I read it aloud in my head, complete with required accent and all!
That basically means that if I’m reading a British book, I will imagine all the dialogue in a British accent.British isn’t hard, but Angela’s Ashes is an Irish book!.
MAN the Irish accent is not easy ok.
Anyways, that brings me to my new speed-reading technique! I’ve decided to just read a book without reading it aloud in my head. I think it’ll go faster that way. I’m afraid some of the emotion will be lost, but at least it’ll speed things up.

(2) Irritating people on MSN
I absolutely cannot stand people who come up to me on MSN and start off the conversation with some derogatory remark, something like…
“Why you look so fat in all your pictures?”
(example only hor!)
Something to that extent. Not even a ‘HI RYN!’ or a ‘HOW’S YOUR DAY?’ or even a subtle ‘Do you want a gym membership for your birhday?’ or a ‘food’s good in your area huh.’
So since people like that don’t have the courtesy to say something nice to me, there is no need for a response.
Hmph. Stupid spoiler.
(3) GOSSIP GIRL
Why I am so fanatic over Gossip Girl I will never know.
This week’s episode was not bad. Although, I really cannot stand Jenny Humphrey leh! What with her hook up with Nate, her stupid quest to be a fashion designer at 15. I mean who is she? Kira Plastinina???
I bet Kira Plastinina didn’t hold a guerilla fashion show, defy her parents or hook up with Chace Crawford.
There wasn’t any Chuck and Blair action this episode, although there was A LOT of Aaron Rose. Ugh. I think he is so over and done with.
Anyways I was searching for this dress that Blair wore in episode 9 ‘There Might Be Blood’, and I found this link where you can dress Blair up! So I did.
Haha! Yes I am very bo liao.
Out of all the clothes, I thought that this suited Blair the best. All the other clothes are all so er..streetwear.
After dressing Blair I continued my search for the episode 9 dress and I found this…
I am such a bonafide Blair fan ok! HAH!

Anyway I found the dress that I was originally looking for, but after all the excitement over dressing Blair, I’m too lazy to post that dress now. It seems very un-news-worthy. Hahaha.. But it appeared in Episode 9 when Blair was at Dean Baraby’s house and it’s a Catherine Malandrino Ruffle Sleeve Shirtdress with Belt. I love it!

(4) A weekend of BIRTHDAYS
I’ve got Krystal’s and Candace’s birthdays to go tomorrow.
Krystal’s is a tropical-themed birthday! How fun right! And it’s at the airport! I’m actually quite excited about that one. 21st birthdays are always a big bangin’ blast.
Oh but first, maybe I gotta buy a new tropical dress to wear to the tropical party.
Yesyes. Good plan.
Can’s birthday is at downtown east so I think I gotta go for that one after Krystal’s.
OMG I just realized we’re going bowling for Can’s bday. How am I gonna bowl in my nice new tropical dress?
Hmm. That’s a real humdinger. Gotta think about that.
MAN, the dilemmas that I face everyday. -_-
