The Link sale happened today at Pan Pacific Orchard and we all went down during lunch. I actually wasn’t planning on getting anything coz I already spent $65 yesterday on bling for my mirror at home.
BUT that was before I saw the incredible discounts!!!!
AAAHHH!!! HAHAHAHA can you see how much we spent in total???
Ok don’t worry, not all of it is mine, mine is the one highlighted in BLUE! Hohoho.
I bought 2 skirts from alldressedup.
One of them was $479 before discount and the other was $499 before discount.
AFTER discount, both were $49!
$49 is how zai!!!! HOW NOT TO BUY RIGHT!!!!!
AND on top of that, there was a 10% discount with DBS card. So my skirts cost $44.10 each after the discount!

Nice not? Actually the first one on not a skirt, it's a pair of culottes. The second one is a wrap skirt.
The fitting room at the sale was quite WTH tho. We had to queue up to go in, like any other normal fitting room, but once u get into the dressing room (which is basically a curtained area), everybody is changing out in the open! There are clothes racks where you can hang your clothes and that’s it. Everybody else is walking around in their bras lor! Hahaha. Luckily I wore a skirt today! So it was easier trying stuff on.
Ah, the things girls would do for a steal.
It’s a good day! I love cheap buys!!!
And I didn’t spend terribly a lot lor, Kgo Kgo bought a $900 Etro bag!!! HAHA.
Serry did good, she only spent $26 on a skirt! So everybody went back happy!
On a sadder note, I REALLY have to start saving money! I think Sandy secretly gawks at how much I spend. He always says it’s ok as long as I like it, but I think he’s secretly going
“OMG! NooOOOooOOo!”
Eh…get used to it babe! At least I have my accounts book to keep me in check. Ever since I started logging down how much I spend everyday, I’ve become more disciplined ok! It’s really a good habit that I TRY to get Serry and Kgo Kgo to adopt but they keep refusing to do it. They don’t like having to face how much money they spend everyday.

Moving on from shopping, I suddenly got reminded that day of the poem ‘The Square Root of Three’. If you watched Harold and Kumar Escape from Guantanamo Bay, you’ll know what I’m talking about. If you didn’t watch the show, here it is…(the poem, not the show)
When I first heard it in the cinema I thought that it was the best poem ever written! It really is how zai!! It’s like they took the science stream and arts stream and mixed it together to form an awesomely owning piece of work.
I’m sure that I will always be
A lonely number like root three
The three is all that’s good and right,
Why must my three keep out of sight
Beneath the vicious square root sign,
I wish instead I were a nine
For nine could thwart this evil trick,
with just some quick arithmetic
I know I’ll never see the sun, as 1.7321
Such is my reality, a sad irrationality
When hark! What is this I see,
Another square root of a three
As quietly come waltzing by,
Together now we multiply
To form a number we prefer,
Rejoicing as an integer
We break free from our mortal bonds
With the wave of magic wands

Ok I hope you enjoy it as much as I do! The words are not fantastic and some lines seem as though they are purposely put there for rhyming purposes. But overall, the idea behind the poem is so nice. =)
