And another year is coming to an end. I’m sure this year, people will have no problem coming up with New Year resolutions. It’s just with everything that’s happening in the world, I think people are more reflective and are more welcome to change.
My New Year’s resolution is very simple. It dawned upon me during the Christmas Holidays that I like to sleep a lot.
Like A LOT ok!
Every chance I get, I’m lying down watching an episode of Friends.
And that wouldn’t be such a problem if it wasn’t the 13th time that I am watching the episode!!!
*faint*
Sandy always says that I’m super lazy. But I always say
It’s ok to be lazy! If I don’t sleep now then I’ll be very tired later. And that’s worse! Because I’ll get very grouchy, and who will be getting the brunt of it?
Sandy catches on to things quite quickly. So after considering the possible options, he hopped on the if-you-can’t-beat-‘em-join-‘em wagon.
So now Sandy’s also lazy like me. And that’s why we’re growing fat together.
Which isn’t very good coz it makes us even lazier.
Ah, the vicious cycle.
So after all the background info on my impossible disease, my New Year Resolution for the year 2009 is to
SLEEP LESS, DO MORE.
Heh. I even summed it up into a nifty little tagline.
I think I did quite a good job of keeping my resolution last year which was to learn to be ok being antisocial.
And if you remember my New Year’s Resolution post from last year (which of course you don’t), I like making only one resolution per year because it makes things easier.
Now, in a very abrupt change of topic.
Pictures from the Christmas Party with the old TH gang.
The party was held at my house!
Which was also good, coz then I didn’t have to follow them out to buy food (remember my laziness? This is precisely what i’m talking about).
They did a good job of buying food in the end though.
Roast chicken, Sashimi, Baked ribs, Jumbo sausages, KFC mashed potatoes, chips, Honey Baked Ham and wine…
And I cooked spaghetti!
Ok not me, but my mama did it!
It was so good lor, everybody loved it.
It was all good and happy until Baks pointed out that Siao was eating everything with his hands.
Argh! EVERYTHING ok!
So oily his hands!!!!
And because Baks tried to stop him…
FIERCE! Haven’t even had a drink wanna fight already.
HAHA.
What to do? What to do?
After dinner, we all got down to the REAL event!! Playing Wii!!!
Rayman’s Raving Rabbids!!
We tried using my Wii at first but for some reason it couldn’t play the pirated games even though it’s been modified. (I later found out how to do it from Sandy). So Steph had to go all the way back home to get her own set!
After a while the guys started playing some soccer game so the girls played taboo instead. I LOVE TABOO! Especially since we started playing it in Chinese to makes things a bit more challenging.
My Chinese is not as bad as I thought. In fact, I think it’s better than Lynn’s ok!
All in all it was a good night la.
Yay! Good party! =)
