BISHAN OK!!!!
That is damnnnnn far from my house.
Rice and I were considering taking a train down, then decided against it. HAHA. Cabbing is always the saner choice when you’re traveling halfway across the country at 10pm.
I brought my camera but we didn’t take any photos coz there was a lot of chicken liver or some other kind of gross innard-slash-bait stuff getting all up in our fingernails. Ugh.
Ooh I did catch a MEGA king prawn though!! It was HUGEEEE…!! In fact when I hooked it, it was so heavy that I couldn’t even pull it out, Rice had to help me. HAHA.
I am NOT weak. The lobster was damn heavy.
After that we BBQ-ed all our prawns and ate them…and then headed down to Thomson prata for some REAL food. The Thomson prata is ok only la, I prefer the chewy prata, not the crispy kind.
Got back home at 4am. Which wasn’t good news at all for the next morning when I had to wake up at 8am for church.
But it was a good weekend! Although I missed my Sandy terribly!
He was all ‘OMG babe! The sea is so blue! And I had so much fun today playing soccer and avalanche..etc. etc. etc.’
ARGH! Jealous!!!
But he’s coming back tonight!! Yay!!!
I’m so happy. :)
Ok so to make myself feel better about not going to Redang, I’m going to remind myself about my Taiwan trip.
leading nicely to part 2 of my photos!!
Woohoo!! Days 3, 4 and 5.
We didn’t take as many photos on the last 3 days. Mainly because we stopped the sightseeing and got down to the shopping.
And when girls shop, we don’t take pictures yo.
Ok before that…
We woke up on the 3rd day morning SUPER stoned after a helluva night at Luxy

Super tired!!!

We had a quick lunch at XiMenDing before heading over to WuFenPu.

And then the whole day was spent winding in and out of the many many many many lanes. The girls and the guys split, naturally, and we met back at a certain time.
The thing is that when the girls had finished shopping, we went back to the coffeeshop (our meeting place) to meet the guys and go back, and the guys were all “Ok we still wanna shop. You can stay here and wait for us if you want!”
Wert. -_-“
Super role-reversal.
HAHA. But of course we didn’t stay put. I mean HELLOOoOOOO shopping vs. slacking at a nondescript coffee shop?
It’s practically a knock-out.
So we shopped till night time and then headed home to get ready for Room 18. This other club.
Actually we were all much too tired to go clubbing for another night, but HEY if we weren’t gonna do it then then when right?
So with that trooper mentality, we trooped our butts down to Room 18.
I didn’t even bother changing out of my day dress for the club.
That’s how sian I was. HAHA.

We left Room 18 at like 3am and then headed down to the famous tau hway shop for supper.
It was like a 20 minute ride away and we were all, well…see for yourselves…

HAHA. Too seh to do anything.
The tauhway was not very good. Tasted really burnt. I’d take rochor tauhway over that one any second.
But at least we tried it.
After maximizing our day 3, we stumbled into bed at 4.30am. *yawn*
DAY 4! We decided to go back to WuFenPu again coz we didn’t manage to shop enough the day before. HAHA.
WuFenPu is really too big to be able to finish in one day!
And the lanes all look the same, it’s hard to remember which way you’ve walked already. Although for some miraculous reason, Damon said he could remember which way to walk and where we had been to the previous day already. Amazing. I totally did not have any clue about where we were walking.
Lunch before setting out was awesome.
I think it’s goose? Or duck? With noodles.

And Lynn was setting out on the 4th day with NO money.
Zero. Zilch. Nada.
HAHA Same thing happened in the US last time!!!

Our favourite place to take photos is on the train, coz it’s when we’re most free, everybody’s together and we have nothing better to do. HAHA.

After WuFenPu, we went to check out Taipei 101.

It really is kind of like the spawn of Ngee Ann City + Paragon + iconic glam factor.
You gotta pay to go up to the top storey so we didn’t do it. We did watch the video explaining the architecture of the place though, and while watching I spotted a spelling mistake!
I told the guys and they were all ‘NO!! There’s no mistake!’
So I bet them that there was. And because of that bet, we stood there watching the whole video again for 5 minutes, only to conclude that I was right.
HAHA. Totally bo liao. I didn’t even win anything from the bet.
Ooh on the way to Taipei 101 we saw this-

SO CUTE!!! HAHAHAHA.
I like its eyes coz it looks like its smiling!!
It was in the middle of the business district at Starbucks with its owners.
Seriously, how do you bring such a massive lump of pig out for a walk?
Lynn and I went to touch it and it was all clean and prickly. HAHA. Nice. :)
No idea what the boys are doing here -

Went back to XiMenDing for some last minute shopping at night.
And I took a picture with Gu Jun Pyo
HAHAHA GU JUN PYOOOOOOOO!!!!!
Which reminds me that I STILL haven’t finished Boys Before Flowers. I am damn slow.

And that concludes our trip!! We woke up at 4am the next day to catch our flight. So we couldn’t be bothered to take any more pics.
It was a good trip if I do say so myself. My bag was filled to the brim when I got back…that’s always a good sign.
Now looking forward to my next trip. Woohoo! I love holidays!!
I’ve got my Japanese test the following Monday.
わたしわけさしちじはんいおきました、あさごはんわぱんおたべました。
くじはんからはたらきました。ひるごはんおたべません。
わたしわひまのひとです。じょうずがありません。さむしです。
HAHA you’re not missing much. I pretty much only know how to say what I’ve done today.
Ok wish me all the best for my test yo! :)
