Sorry for the hiatus!
I wanted to blog the whole of last week but I was so busy what with early mornings, photoshoots and airplane drama all of which we’ll get to shortly.
Today’s the start of a new work week and I’ve got tons of stuff to update you on.
Let’s go yo.

Met up with ah siao, CHB and Jeremy last week for some timbre @ the arts house.
SO. FREAKIN. HOT.
As in I was literally sweating my butt off.

See how sweaty I am! Ugh.
Other than that, the music was good! I don’t know the name of the band but ah siao said that the singer is the boyfriend of 98.7’s DJ Ros or something like that.
Didn’t stay for long coz siao had a date. But he was SO nice! He still sent me all the way home before going back to Bishan.

Last work week was super hectic. I had a hundred and one things to do!
And on top of that, I had a photoshoot on Thursday and I only managed to go into office for 2 hours in Friday!

The photoshoot was a DRAG. -_-
I was talking to Tash and I told her I had a photoshoot and she was ooh-ing and aah-ing. That was until I was like ‘YEAH RIGHT! It’s so not what you see in the movies lor! I have to sit around all day doing nothing.’
I badly wanted to go back to office but I had to stay at the shoot the WHOLE DAY!! *roar* =(
So what else could I do?

HAHA. Play with props!!!
I lovelovelove cocktail umbrellas!!!!
They’re the coolest things ever! It’s so cool how it works like a normal umbrella. Like you have to push up the little extension thingy and everything. AAAHHH. Love it!!!

Thursday ended and I was SO happy! Had to sleep early coz Zeke was leaving for the airport on Friday morning.

(ok diversion: I know my ‘follow me’ column in my sidebar said that my parents were leaving on 19 May, but in actual fact, they left on 13 May! Sorry for the confusion. I know some people actually do take the effort to note what I write in the sidebar. Heh)

Because my parents were not around, I had to take some time off work to bring Zek down to the airport.

It was all good in the hood TILL we got to the check-in counter.
Turns out that if you’re traveling to the US, you either gotta have a biometric passport or a visa!!!
WHAT THE - ?????
Zek had neither can.
DIE DIE DIE. Oh man.

So this was how the rest of the day turned out:
8.30am :

Reached airport

8.45am :

WTH!!!! Zeke is not allowed to travel to the US without a Visa or Biometric passport???

9.00am :

Off to the ticketing counter to change the flight.

OH MAN. Found out we can’t change flight at the airport because our ticket is booked with the travel agent!
9.05am :

Cancelled Zeke's existing 10.50am flight ticket at the airport first coz there is a no-show penalty of $150.
9.15am :

I've got the travel agent on the phone but the girl doesn't know who is handling Zeke's ticket! And how am i supposed to know coz Mum booked it through her office. =(
9.20am :

I'm thinking ‘crap crap crap crap crap’
9.30am :

The agent handling Zeke’s ticket calls. *HENG AH!* . Turns out Mummy called her colleague to tell her what’s going on.
9.45am :

Driving down to ICA to either get a visa OR biometric passport

10.15am :

The travel agent calls to say that he has booked a flight for Sunday. *yay!*
10.20am :

Reached ICA. Had a special interview arranged. The officer told us that Zek would get a biometric passport by the next day (Saturday)
10.45am :

Cam-whored while waiting for the passport officer
11.30am :

Met up with the passport officer who told us that she can’t process the passport coz they need

(a) an authorization letter from the parents, and

(b) the parent’s ICs/passports coz Zeke’s a minor!!!

ARGH!!!! BUT MY PARENTS ARE IN AMERICA!!!
11.45am :

Grrreat. The parents cannot find a photocopying machine to photocopy and fax their passports. -_-
12.00pm :

I’m driving home to get Zeke’s birth cert and my parents’ ICs.
12.45pm :

Walked out to take a cab back to ICA. By this time, Zeke boy is so darn tired that he sleeps the whole way.
1.45pm :

Directed the cab to office instead coz ICA’s fax machine doesn’t work. So mummy had to fax the authorization letter to office where I picked it up.
2.00pm :

Took train down to Lavender.
2.30pm :

Got to see the passport officer.
3.00pm :

Settled Zeke’s passport!!!!!!!
3.45pm :

Took a train back to work.

So I only reached work at 4pm on Friday!
What a day.
All the rushing here and there gave me a headache the size of China.

But at least something good came out of it!!!!
Remember the cam-whoring at 10.45am?

So eventful! And even though I may mope and moan about it, I absolutely love the excitement!! Muahahaha.

SO THAT IS THAT.
My enormously busy week.
And I didn’t even go into Saturday when I had to pick Zek’s passport up from ICA at an unearthly 7.30am, and Sunday when I had to send Zeke to the airport again!

But moving on…

One day to go to my 23rd Birthday!!!
Woohoo!
Yesyesyes. Can’t you just feel it in the air?
I know Kgokgo, Serry, Aisha and Zai are raring to go.
Yesterday, they gave me a friendly little warning of what to expect tomorrow.

(Fyi: See the little ‘out’ there? I just relocated and now everybody can’t see me! They don’t know whether I’m at my desk or not. So I made a little sign that says ‘out’ and ‘in’ on the other side. Muahahaha. Only thing is it’s too small for anyone to see from far!!!)

That was yesterday.
Today I got MORE things!!

WOAH.
I likey!
We’ll see what the plan is for tomorrow!
I cannot wait. =)

Tash is supporting Archuleta and I’m supporting Cook.
i told Tash the i'm in Club Cook and Tash said that if that's the case, she's in Archuleta's Army..
