Went for the Pedder Sale on Saturday!

Tash was the sweetest! She accompanied me even though she was broke beyond anything and on top of that, owes her parents $100.
The sale started at 10am and Kgokgo (who told me about the sale) was planning on being in the queue by 9.45am!
If I was planning on being there at that time that would mean, counting backwards…
9.45am – reach the Raffles City Convention Centre
9.00am – leave the house
8.15am – wake up!!!
8.15am on a Saturday is unearthly!!!
I always try to sleep in till at least 9am on Saturdays. It’s only logical.
And besides, Tash was staying with me on Friday night so we might have had to wake up even earlier in order for both of us to get ready in time.
So considering the madness that is waking up early, Tash and I decided to sleep in till about 9.30. Which Kgokgo said was quite expected.
Ooh ok before I continue, Tash just got back from Osaka on Friday itself and she got me this Jappy mascara from Majolica Majorca…

(Actually, after Googling, I realize Majolica Majorca is under Shiseido!)
ok so anyways, I don’t really use mascara coz it’s such a hassle!!!
But this one is really cute, its tagline on the bottle says
“Lashes, my lashes. Extend elegantly.”
HAHAHAHAHAHAHA.
But apart from that, my lashes really did look longer la! In fact the packaging says that it’s supposed to make your lashes 120% longer!!! OMG!!!
Thanks Tashie!!!
I’ll use it coz you bought it!!! =)
Ok so because I had to use the mascara, Tash and I decided to dress up to go for the sale.
We reached the place itself by about 10.45am or so. And because the room is quite small, they only let in a few people at a time. So we had to (ugh) queue.
Boring boring boring.
Luckily I had Tash to camwhore with.
But it was SO dark!
And people kept staring at us.
Tash, however, made use of the lack of light to do an artistic shot. Something about playing with light and shadows…
Hahahaha.
Really artistic, Tash.
Ok so after talking and taking photos for half an hour, we finally got in!!!
Ooh heaven!
They had shoes all at 50% off and bags at 50% - 70% off!!!! OMG. Damn zai.
Beverly Feldman, Marc Jacobs, Stuart Weitzman, Juicy Couture.
No photos though. No time to take photos while elbowing 10 other girls just to get to the shoes.
Tash and I spent about 2 hours in total looking around and trying shoes.
And at the end of it all, we ended up with something each…
Yay a big Pedder Red bag!!
Ok you can’t really tell from there, but look at this…
Yay a big Pedder Red bag!!
And Tash got her own Pedder paper bag!
We each bought a pair of Pedder Red shoes…
The silver one on the left is mine and the bling beaded one on the right is Tashie’s!
I was rationalizing my sandal to Tash (actually I was rationalizing it to her coz she wanted to get it at first)…
You know how the gladiator sandal is in now right?
And you know how minimalism is so chic as well?
Yea so well if you put the two together, you get my sandal – minimalistic gladiator sandals. =)
I think I believed my rationalization so much that I ended up getting the sandal instead of Tash.
HAHAHA.
Ok on top of the shoes, I got myself a nice black bag…
The photo so does not do the bag justice!! (ignore all the white tissue that i didn't remove!)
It’s a really nice suede hobo with textured patent detailing and zips at the bottom.
SO NICE!!! *drooL*
I’ve been wanting a black bag for ages (coz my Zara one’s peeling) so this is a VERY good buy.
To sum it all up, our buys prior to discount would have cost us…
Pedder Red Silver minimalist gladiator sandals: $130
Pedder Red Orange beaded bling slippers: $110
Pedder Red City Zip Hobo: $280
TOTAL: $520
But because we were at the SALE, we paid…
Pedder Red Silver minimalist gladiator sandals: $65
Pedder Red Orange beaded bling slippers: $55
Pedder Red City Zip Hobo: $112
TOTAL: $232
And because you get an extra 10% off if you buy 3 items, we paid a grand total of $208for all our buys.
YAY SALE!!!
Remember how I said Tash was really broke?
Yea I decided to be a nice bestie cuz and treat her to a pair of shoes!
Yay so we went back all happy. =)
$208 is not cheap but it really did keep me happy all weekend.
三 got a bit of a shock though.
(Sorry babe!!! I’ll spend less this month! And to justify my $200, Kgokgo spent $800 on a Marc Jacobs bag alone ok! That’s not counting all her shoes. Wahh…)
Thanks for going shopping with me Tash!!!
It was really a great Saturday…a whole morning of shopping, and a whole afternoon of mahjong.
On a side note:
三 says we don’t take pictures so much already. I think it’s coz Daddy took my camera to Dubai and had to do some transferring of photos even after coming back.
I know you’re thinking that he could’ve just taken my memory card and I could’ve used my other card, but for some reason, my Daddy thinks it’s easier carrying the whole camera around. Go figure. So cute my Daddy!
Hahaha.
Ok so since my babe complained, you might see more photos of Sandy here soon. Hahaha.

On another side note:
I wanted to get this gorgeous pair of Juicy Couture shoes!!! Originally $330, it was going at $165!!! But when i got to it, there was no more size. =(
I tried to look for a picture of it online but couldn't find!! =(
I would have given up my bag and sandals for it lor!!
But now thinking back on it, it's probably better to get the bag and sandals instead of the Juicy heels la.
.
.
.
OH who am i kidding!
The juicy shoes are SO worth it.
I told Tash that we HAVE to go earlier next year to prevent gorgeous Juicy shoes from going out of stock on us.
I really DO love my bag and sandals though k! hahaha.
