Yesterday the boy and I celebrated our very first year together!
And I do know that many a cynic might scoff at it only being the first.
But honestly, the best year ever.
三 borrowed Zhihao’s car for yesterday so I got to ride in Suzuki-Swift style (as compared to the usual Phantom rider style that I’m so used to).
Rather exciting. I had no idea where we were going coz the boy said that he would plan everything. I’ve told him before that I’m not so into surprises, they kinda scare me beforehand. He, on the other hand, is SUPERDUPERULTRAMANLY into surprises so I’ve learnt to appreciate the occasional (wonderful) surprise that comes by.
And what a surprise it was…
So when I got to the car, he said that he was gonna bring me home instead of going out coz I was tired (which I really was. More on that later.) hmm… suspicious but ok, going along with it.
When we got home, he refused to let me go into the room, though!! (yesyes VERY suspicious.)
He actually handed me my home clothes and asked me to go and shower first.
And I said “NO!!! I wanna look glam when we take pictures later!! I don’t wanna be all chatchat in home clothes.”
I so wasn’t going to bathe so next best thing to do…Watch TV!!!
Watching TV is seriously the next best thing to ANYTHING.
But I didn’t watch TV, Zeke was having tuition so I went downstairs to kaypoh.
Ok scratch the TV thing that I said. Kaypohing comes first, TV cuts a close second, though.
Kaypoh-ed till I was allowed to go up.
VERRRRY exciting. I ran the whole way upstairs can!
It was very worth the wait la!
Not-so-strangely reminiscent of last year…
三 said that he gave up on lighting the candles coz he didn’t wanna burn my room down and coz I was already waiting for rather long.
I think the boy COULDN’T light the candles coz the aircon was blowing!
I can so imagine it. It’s like a cartoon playing in my mind now. Hah.
Magnetic goodness! 三 spray painted the borders and stuck some of our photos up there. AND he took these drawings that I did last time of like how we met and stuff, photoshop-ed them and printed them out to put in the faux film roll.
SO NICE!
The boy is really very proud of his work.

He only slept 5 hours over 3 nights coz he had to do the crapload of homework that the evilness that is the NUS Business School piled on him AND coz he had to prepare for all this.
He didn't even sleep the night before our anni coz he was doing the video and spray painting and everything!!!
