Friday night was spent in hall having a BBQ with the good old oldies. Hahaha…Barry has the pictures from those so I gotta figure out a way to get them from him.
The BBQ was so fun!!! Love meeting up the lovelies. Our group really seems to be getting bigger. Which is really quite fun in a weird way…now it’s like as long as you’re the same age group, you’re invited to the outings. Hahaha…ok not so much like that but our gatherings are expanding and I love it. =)
Saturday night was spent out with my favourite girls – Deb and Tash!!
We headed down to Werner’s Oven at Siglap for some good German food. Basically we had oily sausages, oily pork knuckles, oily sautéed potatoes, Sauerkraut and German Beer. OH SO GOOD! Price almost killed us though..like 30+ a person?
After dinner we headed over to Coffee Club for some tea before TheMah came to pick us up to head home (Thanks Mah! =) ). Oh yea on the way out of the carpark, there was some commotion coz the carpark electronic IU reading thingy was working too well so we got stuck at the barrier. The uncle came over to help us get out but he had to jaga both the cars coming in AND going out coz the barrier thingy…well..basically it sucks la..haha..so the uncle came to us and asked us to hold on, then he turned to the other car coming in and said something and deb was like
‘EH UNCLE!!! HOW!!!’

So my usual Monday Musing…
I’m quite sian this Monday…mainly coz I’ve got a meeting after work for my mission trip in December. It’s not the missions meeting in particular but Mondays are really just a bad time in general to have meetings of any kind. Mondays are meant to be spent at home watching Monday Night Laughs on Star World. I need to spend some time with Kelso, Fez, Jackie, Hyde and Eric (not so much Donna, I never did like her at all). AND I need to be in bed by 10 on Mondays.
It’s just my thing.
So this is for future reference if anyone’s paying attention…I WILL get cranky if there’s a meeting on a Monday night. Like a formal meeting of any kind. It’s not my fault. It’s Monday’s fault.
On an oilier note…
I was in Crabtree & Evelyn buying handcream yesterday coz I was telling sD that my hands are really dry. I tried the rosewater handcream from the tester. It was so nice!!! But sD didn’t really like it, he asked me to try the Lavender one instead. But how could I right? As in my hands were already all moisturized with rosewater hand cream!!
So I put the Lavender one on his hands…
sD: OMG!!!! Babe!!! I don’t like having oily stuff on my hands!!! OMG can I wash it off??
Me: No!! It’s nice!! Don’t your hands feel softer now?
sD: Oh ya they do!
Me: Really???
sD: NO!!!! They’re so oily!!! …

So anyways I didn’t allow him to wash it off coz we were in the shop! How to wash off right?
We went around the shop looking at other things…
Me: (pointing to a bottle of shampoo) Babe, isn’t this nice?
sD: No, I think this towel is quite nice…it’s so soft and fluffy!
He was holding the towel so I took one up too and it really was very nice and fluffy!!
BUT then I realized what he was doing!!!….
Me: STOP cleaning your hands on the towel!!!!!!
!!! How sneaky!!! So I said…
Me: Aiya ok you can clean your hands on me la…
So I put my arm out for him to wipe the cream off.
sD: Babe, but you’re right leh…
Me: What? Your hands are really softer?
sD: (still cleaning his hands on my arm) No, you really do need moisturizer. Your skin’s so dry…

For the record, my hands are not THAT dry. He was just being super jisiao.
