Sorry for the pretty long hiatus.
The festive season really puts a hex on blogging priorities.
So I’m really finally home!
I’ve been staying at home for the past week (except that I’ve been in KL for 4 days of that week).
It’s quite nice to be home and to have my own room.
Zeke is sleeping in my room with me now though,
1. because I’m a bit afraid to sleep alone in a new room
2. because he has no room of his own yet
I can’t wait for the house to be all done up pretty!
I promise once the internet connection at home works, I’ll upload the photos from my trips and parties!!
Because it’s the end of the year, I think it’s only right to look back on the year and see how far I’ve come.
This past year has been really amazing.
2007 has been a year of learning, growing and at the end of the year, I’m so glad to be able to say that I’m perfectly happy with where I am.
So let’s get it started…Best and Worst moments of 2007!!!
Best Moment Number ONE
Seriously, my 三 is the best invention ever.
I think this year just wouldn’t have been as fulfilling and as full of laughter if my 三 wasn’t with me.
2007 is THE bestest year coz of you, babe! =)

Best Moment Number TWO
My stay in hall seems like it happened a lifetime ago. It doesn’t seem like I spent the whole first half of the year in TH.
My hall stay was really one of the best experiences, and further to that, the last semester is something that I wouldn’t trade for anything.
The people, the parties and the games make for a time of pure devil-may-care fun.
And it really doesn't hurt to have stayed with neighbours who really are out to have fun amidst stressful mugging (or not-so-stressful mugging on my part).

Best Moment Number THREE
I managed to get a job that totally does not feel like a job at all.
I love coming to work to talk to the people here and to do work that I really enjoy.
I reiterate that loving your job is really the only thing that matters, contrary to what other people might believe.

Best Moment Number FOUR
I still can't believe that I managed to go for a month-long trip to the US.
It was an unbelievable touristy bonanza of seeing the sights, traveling through the night, rushing around and shopping from morning till night.
From San Fran to Sausalito to Santa Monica to LA to Vegas to New York. We managed to do so many things and see so many sights.
Thanks Lynn, Baks and Robert. =)
My favorite thing in San Fran was when we rode bikes up from Fisherman’s Wharf all the way up to the Golden Gate Bridge. Trust me, I would never do it again. Cycling in sand in the biting cold and getting lost on the way is not for the faint-hearted.
I’m glad I managed to complete it though, what an experience. =)

In LA, I loved all the theme parks! Disneyland, Unviersal Studios and Six Flags. We would come back so tired every night, but oh-so-satisfied.

I love Vegas, the city is just so in-your-face.
I was too scared to gamble, though. I would just spend $10 playing the 1-cent jackpot while the rest played roulette and blackjack and stuff.
But on the final day, I took on a very what-the-heck attitude and pooled money with baks and lynn to play roulette.
How cool is it that we made $60!
I know it’s not a lot, it’s just the thrill of it.

New York with my sister was cool. I loved watching RENT on Broadway.
And eating street meat, and atomic wings.
New York is so bustling and Kris stays so near Times Square that we could walk there everyday.

I miss that month in US.
But I’m glad I came back to my San Duo. =)
Worst Moment Number ONE
I miss my Shah.
It's never really easy to let go.
=(

Worst Moment Number TWO
My 1-month-plus stint in ABN Amro Bank was the worst thing ever.
I don’t have much to say about it.
But boy, am I glad to be out of there.
Of course there are many more things about 2007 that were both good and bad.
But the good times are too many to be mentioned
And the bad times are too petty to be bothered with.
I love all my friends who still keep in touch. I'm sorry i'm such a pangseh-kia.
But i do try ok!
NEXT UP will be a list of resolutions for 2008.
Yea I know, cliché much?
But it’s tradition. What happened to goal-setting!!
