They say
money can’t buy happiness
money can’t buy love
money can’t buy popularity
I think
money can buy the illusion of happiness
(I wish I were a princess)
money can buy the illusion of love
(You don’t want a rose? How bout 99?)
money can buy the illusion of popularity.
(Sup yo, I got the dough. Hang wit me.)
But illusions are fleeting.
And in the end, all that’s left is the regret of wasted spending.
Or…maybe not.
I guess if you’re willing to buy the illusion, that’s your own psycho problem.
I’m in a very Ho-Ho-Ho kinda mood.
It’s weird coz instead of making merry, Christmas has this bittersweet twinge to it every year.
Maybe it’s coz Jesus came to die.
Maybe God’s sad that people don’t even know what they’re celebrating.
