Ok so i didn't know what MAF was at first but it really is a very cool event. It's the Hwa Chong Mid-Autumn Festival Celebration. Actually it's more than that, it's when all the HwaChongians past and present come together to celebrate and to meet up, to sing songs, do the kinky mass dance, eat some mooncake and feel old (in xianhong's case).
TPJC is how off la. We don't have this kind of thing. No TPJC spirit! =(

MAF 2007
The theme for this year was 'yuan'. They had this wishing well in the pond and the 'yuan' was so nice la!! As in the font...hahahaha...
The guys thought it was super J coz they put up the wishing well to collect money only.
Aiyaa...in the end collect 50 cents can buy what???
Maybe it can buy the string tying the star together...Preeeedy!
How RAG la. The dragon was really nice. Now i know how Tat can go from doing Hwa Chong MAF to doing Sheares Rag. haha..
The main event of the whole thing was the grand lighting up. They lit the whole place up so nicely!! It goes in time with the music so the lights will go up one by one and everybody's standing under the canopy of lights going like 'WAH...daaaaaamn nice'.
The principal lit had to light the big 'yuan' word behind the fountain. Very Olympic-y.

Yay! we had fun! Hwa Chong is a nice school. I'm not from the school and i was feeling a bit nostalgic already. hahahahah..WTH right.
I miss TPJC. So for the sake of reminiscing...with gusto now...
