I'm guessing it must be pretty boring for you guys to be staring at words all the time.

It's ok! i went for a wedding yesterday so i'll get the pics for you all k!!

anyways i've been feeling rather emo today. I just recently heard about this girl that i sorta know who is really quite in a sad state. Her family is really poor and her father is sort of a tyrant at home. When he comes home from work, all he wants to do is have dinner and sleep so that he can wake for work the next day. But the problem is that he doesn't want to sleep with any lights on at all (point of digression: he would lurrrrve my room. It is PITCH BLACK. which is also the reason why i HATE it! =) ). Problem no. 2 is that her house is so small that whenever the lights are switched on anywhere in the house, it floods the whole house. So if you're sleeping in the bedroom, you can get the light from the kitchen or what-not.

So because of that, she can't study at home past 11, 12. That's why sometimes she stays in school to study the whole night. And my friend (who is really sweet) lets her come to his room to study coz he understands her plight..and then people make fun saying it's a scandal...including me.

That is vile. After hearing the story, it really makes me feel blessed and sorry for being so shallow. As in no matter what i'm going through, there are people who are going through much worse things, things that they have would seem unfair to them. We should take more time to understand people and their probs.

I have a good life and I should be thankful for it. *thank you God!* =)
