bash = no personal time = blogging hiatus
but that's all over now!!! i'm really really glad that the bash is over seriously, not coz it wasn't a fun project, coz it really was one of the most fun times i've ever had, but it was coz of all the planning and the coordinating and the late nights and stuff.
Anyways, the bash itself wasn't too bad apart from the lousy management and the time gap between both parties. ok if you don't know what i'm talking about, here's a more detailed rundown of the day's events.
We reached DXO at bout 2+ to set up everything which was actually kinda early coz there was pretty much nothing to do. at 4+ everybody started getting hyped up tho, which was pretty exciting! Denise Keller arrived at about 8+, she's gorgeous!! Hann took a pic of us with her so i'll post it up soon! The prog started at 9 with Ronin playing and then the pageant segment. All was good till the end of the prog where DXO audaciously turned the bright lights on to get the stage ready for the heineken party starting at 11, so the partying mood couldn't continue at all. It kinda sucked. The music sucked and the management sucked. DXO cut off all our drinks deals after 10 when we had actually agreed an all-night rate! uGh..So jac and jeff took it outside with the management. It was a rough powwow but we managed to settle on something. Sorry everyone who didn't manage to redeem your ticket stub for a drink!
Ok yea that briefly sums up the whole night, won't go into much detail coz it would be too long an entry. oh yea but you have got to hear this before i end the post:
I left with my dnd comm and the A3 guys at bout 3 in the morning, we went makansutra (is that what it's called?) to eat which was rather good! shared a fishball noodles with clarice and shared a stingray with everyone else. And Lester and i finally managed to have our hUm (translation: cockles) feast! so it was all good until we wanted to go back. it was then we realized that barry had wandered off on his own! barry was kinda wasted so we had to bring him back. So we sent out a mini search party to look for him. We searched inside the club, around the club, at the food place, until we found him 45 mins later sleeping at the waterfront!! And when we found him he was like "why'd u find me, i just wanna sleep lor.."...yea he was pre-tty wasted man. But we knew that already when he told clarice that she looked absolutely fabulous. haha..barry if u're reading this, u're never gonna hear the end of this! woo!
so all's good! dnd in a month's time so it's back to work soon. But fortunately for me, i'm not the project manager this time round so the biggest part of my job is pretty much done!! yaay!!
