And down to the good stuff...Bintan was a blast and a half!
Even though we were only there for three days, it was so good!!! Angsana is so much nicer than Nirwana.
Usually I get kinda seasick whenever I take ferries. I hate being seasick coz you constantly feel like you wanna barf yet the boat still sways left-right-left-right. Ugh. So does not help things. -_-
But actually when I went on the boat this time, I didn’t get seasick! Yay!
Thank goodness lor. Almost bought the seasickness pills from the ferry terminal…4 tablets for a whopping 8 bucks? No. Thank. You.
Kris and Howard sat in front of us.
Howard wanted to eat some Laksa from the café before he boarded coz he was really hungry!
Only, when the gates opened for boarding, he was still queueing up for his food!! So Sandy and I had to go ahead and chope seats first. Haha. So scary ok. Everybody walked past eyeing their seats.
Once, this guy even came up to us and asked if we were chope-ing seats and we said ‘yea’, and then he went..
“We’re still alive right? Are we still alive?”
OMG how freaky right!
After arriving, we went down to the pasar for a massage and dinner which was really good! The massage at the pasar is only $36 for a full hour lor…and you thought Bintan was too touristy. Heh.
And then when night came, we played games! =)
I love games!
Poker and Dai Dee really are universal games. Even the American was like ‘yea! I know how to play Big Two!’
The next day was BEACH & SPA day. HAHA that’s my favourite kind of day.
Going to the beach in the day then going for a spa treatment in the evening and then having a good dinner after that…is beyond shiok. It is bankai shiok. *sigh*
Oh but before that, Sandy did his reading for the day…

haha. The beach is so different from the last time I was there with Tash. The beach was so much cleaner lor! No more oil splotches all over the place.
So we were free to play Frisbee (which Sandy brought along in a stroke of genius!)
Ultimate Frisbee is tiring!!!
Very Very tiring!! And very very hot!! But very very fun!!
Woohoo. And Sandy says that I’m quite a pro ok! Heh. Actually not really la, I think I always have a lot of beginner’s luck. After that I got cocky and didn’t play so well already. Hahaha. -_-
So we competed in jumping instead.
Which I let Sandy win coz he jumped higher than me. LoL.

Meanwhile, while Sandy and I were doing SandArt, Kris and Howard were getting their FREE massages!!!
Howard is all like ‘Wah. Shiok (which he just learnt how to say)!”
So I dragged Sandy along for the FREE massage too!! Hahaha. We are very kiasu.
After that we had our spa and then went for dinner!
Argh! Look at our oily hair!!! Sandy even tried blowing drying it before we met for dinner. Hahaha.. does not work lor.
A trip with all the makings of a good holiday! I can’t wait to go back to Angsana again. Even a short weekend trip like that is good if just for a break from the monotony of everydayness.
But now that Howard’s back in the US of A, I feel sad for my meimei. Ptooey to LDR. =(
