Day 1 tip 1: always take your sea sickness pills.
We ALL took our sea sickness pills on the way there so we were good! I took it coz i knew i had to (i'm a major motion sickness victim. it's a sad way of life.), tash took it just in case. On the way back tash didn't take her motion sickness pills though so she fell pretty sick. *pukE*
Day 1 tip 2: don't try to sleep on the ferry
Ferries are UNCOMFORTABLE.
i had to try to sleep without leaning on the horizontally challenged guy on my left.
it was torture.
Day1 tip 3: time is of the essence
Once we reached the hotel and discussed spa plans it was time to hit the water!!
the beach is DAMN NICE (ref to pics below) we were just there for a short while though..
then it was time for dinner!
Dinner on the first nite was at the kelong. it was rather nice! it really is A KELONG. so they catch the fish from the sea on the spot and serve it to u (cooked of coz). So it was rather nice. The place was dark tho (as u can see from the pics), i could hardly see wat i was eating!!

Oh ya..we were staying at the Angsana Spa and Beach Resort..
Spa day!!!
the 6 girls went for the spa together! we all did the waves massage which was like the hawaiian lomi lomi massage coz they use their forearms. And tash and i had the tangy tamarind scrub.
While waiting to go up, we decided to take a few pics around the spa shop. haha..
we are all natural camera whores.
i was in the same room as tash! it's an open air thing, and all the rooms were facing the sea. so it was really soothing coz above the calming music, u can hear the sounds of the ocean.

haha..after our tangy tamarind scrub we had to shower off first before the massage.
see the shower? it's outdoor!! and it's really windy so the shower curtain kept flying all over the place.
I felt so vulnerable. hahahaha..=)
after our session, we had our tamarind juice which was *drool* worthy..haha..

the waves were fantastic. We went body surfing. It was pretty ex actually..6USD for one board for an hour. We managed to get it down to 2 boards for 6USD for an hour. Pretty good deal if u ask me!
we only had 2 boards and so the rest of us without a board would just dive together with the wave. but there was a problem..
everytime u dive with the wave, the current is so strong that it totally throws your bikini up!
so tash, jen and i always had to stay underwater a while before coming up coz we had to adjust our bikinis..haha..if not it's like a free show la!!
ooh we dug for crabs on the beach too! zeke and jem caught a crab and kept it in the hotel room and when we left it was still very alive!..
we wanted to release it back onto the beach but we had no time =(

going to the beach is damn tiring man..we were all shagged out by the time we had to go for dinner.
I think washing our hair played a part in shagging us out. The sea does nothing good for my hair! it was so knotted and rough!

oh yea that's our room! i slept on the left and tash slept on the right.
i wanted to have some girly talk with tash but we were so tired every nite that we just crashed out!
dinner the second nite was at baan aaya. It's a thai restaurant. Pretty good, pretty ex.
We weren't full at all tho..
and i figured out the meaning of the restaurants name! thanks to my thai 1 course.
Baan in thai means house
Aarya is the chef's name (as said on the brochure)
so u can pretty much guess what it means together.
so we went back to have chips and play jim(or is it gin?) rummy.
I know how to play gin (or is it jim?) rummy now!!!
yaay! and i'm supposed to teach fuhong i think.
last day! tash and u decide to take a few pics around the hotel.

i luv that holiday..i'm still in the holiday mood man..
i'm just starting to tune myself back to nerd mode for the school term..but wat's the point when
I'M GOING BINTAN AGAIN NEXT WEEKEND!!

And we're not staying at angsana coz it's apparently 263 USD a nite..
we're gonna be staying at nirwana instead.
I'm praying mummy sponsors me!!
If not i've got to start doing some investments.
