i had to go to the guild house yesterday to be an usher for the ICE conference banquet together with half the D&D comm. So it was me, barry, ziqi, lester, aaron and jeff. We ended up doing nothing at all coz it was free seating! haha..so we just stood around and looked useful. It was rather good though coz we got to have dinner there! 8-course..woo! which was good coz i din have lunch so i was damn hungry. i wanted to bring my cam along to take pics but it's quite bulky and i wasn't bringing a bag. *regret*
the guys at my table were vulchers la..everybody was in prep mode everytime a dish came, all chopsticks aimed at the dish. The plates all were cleaned out like 30 seconds after they came! and i'm not exaggerating..i had to fight damn hard with them to get food can. haha..and because we all finished our food so fast we had to wait so long till the next dish came =( so we started playing '5, 10' coz they were serving beer..that was fun!!
Abigail came to entertain us yesterday! you know the one from 'under one roof', lynn said she looks like a transvestite. That tall, skinny, not very pretty one? yea she was our comedian for the night. It was damn sad. I really felt so sad for her la! she was totally bad. She was making an effort at singing, she was making lame jokes, she was looking for bodyguards, she was trying to do magic tricks..i couldn't even look at it. haha..
At dessert, we had an extra bowl coz alwyn wasn't at the table, so ziqi (so expected) poured soya sauce into the almond dessert. how gross can!!! and that's not all!! he added the sambal chilli and pepper inside!! i felt like puking everytime i looked at it la. Got sabo-ed into playing a game with Aaron, lynn and ewen though..7up!! so whoever lost had to eat one almond cube from the bowl, and then when all the almond cubes were gone, the loser had to drink one spoonful of the syrup. i lost twice only!! hahaha..so i had to drink the syrup twice. gross like anything la..the rest of them thought it wasn't too bad though..i din like it!
came back from dinner at bout 10! washed up and then crashed out. I only slept 2 hrs yesterday so i concussed until like 11 this morning! gotta go for productions now!!
