Starwars Episode III
Revenge of the
Sith
warning: mild spoilers ahead!!
the show was absolutely amazing!!! i went to watch the 9.10 pm show with LeX and zeKe. Zek brought his obi-wan kenobi action figurine along (for what i have no idea) - maybe to show his support to obi-wan in the show. we were pretty late so we just grabbed our tickets and refreshments (10 cheesy hotdogs and a regular coke) and went into cinema 5! yaaY!
usually i can't stand shows that are longer than 2 hours coz somehow halfway through something would start to irk me, be it the inevitable numbness, the urge to sleep anywhere that is comfy, has aircon and is dark but not dark enuff such that i get scared, keanu reeves's self-righteousness in the matrix: reloaded, the fact that i'm not even watching the movie in ju-on, or angelina jolie's fat lips in any of her movies (this applies to any clip of her at all, however that does not mean that i'm not gonna watch mr and mrs smith coz brad pitt's charm is, although it may be seriously hard to believe, bigger than those monstrous lips of hers, but that's a story for another time). Starwars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith was 2 hrS and 20 miNs long!! and it seemed like just an hour!! it was really at-the-edge-of-your-seat kinda action and it started off right at the beginning when anakin and obi-wan were fighting together against the others.
minding that this is not a last episode in a trilogy (there's still episode IV, V and VI), the movie did have some sort of closure, ending the story of anakin skywalker and beginning that of darth vader. yet it seemed as if the beginning of the life of darth vader was left hanging, be it a trick to get people to watch the other episodes or be it just for the continuity of the episodes altogether. another interesting thing about this episode is that the good side does not win, in fact, the dark side of the force is the one who wins and restores peace in the end, and it's not even 'peace' it's plain simple peace. now isn't that weird? of course this wouldn't have been a good ending for any other movie, yet because we know that there are more episodes, we except this as ermm..a good twist of events if you must.
anyways..you should really catch the movie even if you're not a starwars buff, it's practically a pivotal moment on it's own! at least to my brother la..but it's really worth every single cent, even the $9.50 that you may have to pay..or $10.50 if you have to book it (which i think is pretty necessary of you wanna catch it early)..all well worth it.
when we got back home, zeke wanted to get his obi-wan kenobi action toy out of my bag and he realized that *gasp* obi-wan had lost his light saber! not very much unlike the show! but he was really very sad and i had no idea where it was! i thought i left it in the cinema coz i dropped my bag over there and i think it may just have dropped out or something! i seriously felt so bad..so, so very bad..so i started to hunt for it all over..even went out to alex's car to search for it. just when i was about to give up, i thought that i may have dropped it while taking my keys out of my bag! muaHahAhAHa..i am so smart i tell u!! and *ta-da* the light saber was right outside the gate. so i rushed up to the room with alex and said to zeke:
"obi-wan, i think you might be needing this."
it was so fun! haha..coz that was what captain cody (i think that's wat it is) said to obi-wan when he returned him his light saber. hahaha.. alex called my captain kohjia after that..i so sound like captain cody's brother..u know like kohdee, kohjia..well..u get my drift..if you don't by know, you're kinda daft, if you are kinda daft you shouldn't watch starwars coz that would be the only scenario where you'd be wasting your money coz you wouldn't understanf the show!! hee..
k for the rest: enjoy the show!! tell me if you think it's good ya!! =)
may the force be with you all.
